1. Introduction
Wela Atelier ("we", "us", "our") operates from 47 Nimmanhaemin Road, Suthep, Chiang Mai 50200, Thailand. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect personal information provided to us through this website and through direct contact relating to our watch repair services.
We take data protection seriously. We collect only what is necessary to provide the services requested, communicate with clients, and maintain the workshop log that forms part of our service record practice.
2. Data We Collect
Information you provide directly
- Full name and contact details (email address, phone number)

- Any correspondence by email or telephone relating to a service enquiry or booking
Information collected automatically

Legal basis for processing (PDPA / GDPR principles)
We process personal data on the basis of: (a) your consent where given, (b) performance of a service contract, and (c) our legitimate interest in operating the workshop and maintaining service records. Thailand's Personal Data Protection Act B.E. 2562 (PDPA) governs personal data handling for Thailand-resident data subjects.
3. How We Use Your Data
- To respond to service enquiries and confirm bookings
- To carry out the agreed service and document it in our workshop log
- To contact you regarding the status of your piece during servicing
- To send the service record accompanying your returned watch
- To follow up on timing reviews for overhauled mechanical movements
- To analyse website usage in aggregate to improve this site (analytics cookies, if consented)
We do not use personal data for unsolicited marketing. We do not sell, share, or rent personal data to third parties for commercial purposes.
4. Data Retention
Contact enquiries that do not result in a service are retained for up to 12 months, after which they are deleted. Workshop log entries for completed services are retained for 7 years as part of our service documentation practice — these records may be relevant for future servicing of the same piece. You may request deletion of your personal details from the log at any time; we will retain only the anonymised service record.

- Workshop records stored on password-protected internal systems
